REQUEST: A global Insurance Company asked us to plan an important meeting composed of 60 attendees in Barcelona from the 16th to 19th February 2016. The brief was to provide the hotel accommodation, all the transfers, the services of an expert Spanish guide, interesting tours and a cooking workshop, together with all lunch and dinner arrangements during a 3 days meeting in the attractive and vibrant city of Barcelona.
Enyevent Solutions was involved in the entire airport and hotel shuttles, the VIP private transfers, the welcome hostess at all airport terminals and in the selected hotel: AC Barcelona Forum, which was hosting the meeting during the three days. Enyevent Solutions was in charge of the welcome gala dinner and a themed dinner with cooking workshops by selecting a special venue for the occasion, including catering, entertainment, lightening, decoration and the necessary audio-visual material. Finally, we had the challenge of adding a component of team-building competition during the workshop.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE EVENT
• Some individuals arrived in the late morning and the main groups of employees arrived at around 18h00 both from Paris. Private transfer and bus shuttles from airport terminals to the selected hotel were organized and coordinated by the local hostess, who welcomed the guests at the airport and at the hospitality desks located at the hotel.
• The 4 star hotel proposed by Enyevent Solutions features a modern architecture and interior design with an incredible view of the beach of Barcelona..
• On the first day, a welcome open buffet dinner was held at the hotel restaurant, in a reserved area, where guests could enjoy an International and sophisticated menu, followed by open bar until 11pm.
• The second day, represented a full day meeting including well-known international speakers. In the afternoon, the participants were led to Plaza Catalunya where they started an entertaining walking tour in the Gothic Quarter ending at the venue for the activity: Palau Dalmases.  This breathtaking house with its special and bohemian atmosphere, is located on a street which, during the sixteenth century, was the residence of the most notable families of the city.
•The team building consisted in a Cooking workshop in the open-air courtyard of Palau Dalmases, dressed with candle lighting, ambience music, where the participants get into teams for a cooking contest of tortilla de patatas, paella and crema catalana
• The chefs acted as a jury to decide which was the best team and the awards followed after the dinner.
• The last day included a full day meeting that set the strategy of the company.  In the evening, the participants enjoyed a farewell dinner in one of Barcelona's well-known club/restaurants, in the Olimpic Port, with its outdoor terrace sitting directly in front of the beach. In this glamorous setting the guests were offered a welcoming cocktail at the bar followed by a seated dinner offering Modern European and Asian dishes.

RESULT

During this successful meeting, Enyevent Solutions team was delighted to cooperate side by side with the Company Management, together with all the fantastic local partners in Barcelona.
We have succeeded to manage efficiently the schedule between the meeting sessions and the free time for team building and cultural activities. Despite to their short stay, we achieved to show them the most important locations in Barcelona and discover its culture.
The company was satisfied by the organization, the selection of the activities and the restaurants.
We look forward to more successful groups in Spain and the South of France.
