REQUEST: The French branch of a Swiss Insurance Company asked us to plan an important private congress composed of 300 attendees in Barcelona from the 28th to the 30th January. Barcelona was chosen for its mild weather, its important cultural heritage and its lively atmosphere. Enyevent Solutions was involved in the entire airport and hotel shuttles, the VIP private transfers, the welcome hostess at all airport terminals and in the two selected hotels: Le Meridien 5 stars at Las Ramblas and Eurostars Grand Marina 5 stars, which was hosting the congress during the three days. Enyevent Solutions was in charge of the two themed dinners by selecting special venues for the occasion, including catering, entertainment, lightening, decoration and the necessary audio-visual material. Finally, we had the challenge of the organisation of the team-building activity for all attendees.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE EVENT:
- The 300 employees arrived from all regions of France from 9h00 to 16h00. Bus shuttles from all airport terminals and train station to the selected hotels were organized and coordinated by the local hostesses, who welcomed the guests at the airport and at the hospitality desks located on both hotels.
- After four hours meeting at the Auditorium of the World Trade Center, a private dinner was held at the Maritime Museum, including an exclusive visit of the boats exposition after closing hours. During the evening, the guests were offered a welcoming cocktail with open bar and canapés followed by a banquet dinner at the Sala Marques de Comillas, which was nicely decorated and enlighten for the special occasion.
- The following day, after four hours meeting and buffet lunch at Hotel Eurostars Gran Marina, we arranged the private transfers by luxury buses from the hotel to Camp Nou Mini stadium, where the company team building took place. The participants were lead to the lockers of the training fields, where they found the different coloured t-shirts to identify their teams; a warming up was preceded by a briefing and a famous former player of PSG entertained the sporting activity all through. The team competition included several mini football matches, penalties and precision goals over a period of two hours. The teams rotated among the various activities and were given a score. The mates “supporters” could enjoy the local products of the buffet placed on the fields, the shopping of FCBarcelona products and were delivered some gadgets to entertain the crowd. A lively music motivated all players and supporters.
- In the evening, we arranged the private transfers by luxury buses from Hotel Le Meridien and Gran Marina for the farewell dinner at La Dama del Paragua venue, situated inside the Barcelona ZOO.  The participants walked on a red carpet with a procession of candles along the way. The appetizer was served at the tables with Cava, Sangria, hot and cold canapés and the guests were quickly animated by a trio of flamenco girls’ dancers on the stage and among the tables. The banquet dinner of 4 courses was accompanied by subtle background music up to the Awards Ceremony, which announced the best team of the afternoon activity as well as the best performances of the employees and their regions.  Upon the dessert, the participants enjoyed a live band of Gypsys followed by a local DJ who made the most of the evening by offering the best dancing hits… everybody followed!
- The departure day included a half-day meeting at the Auditorium, followed by a buffet lunch at Hotel Eurostars Gran Marina, followed by all the private bus shuttles and VIP private car transfers from the hotel to the different terminals and train station.

RESULT: During this successful congress, Enyevent Solutions staff of Event Managers was delighted to cooperate side by side with the Manager of the Event Communication of the French Bureau, together with all the fantastic local partners in Barcelona.
The French employees coming from all over France enjoyed the choice of the hotels, the dinners, the activity and the city itself during their free time. We were told it was the best congress of the company so far. We hope to work another time with this rewarding company, which was very friendly and dynamic.
